Scholars' Travel Fund

Introduction

The Scholars' Travel Fund is a Research Board program designed to provide travel support to faculty members in specifically targeted areas to present original papers at scholarly meetings.

Please Note: ONLY applications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are eligible for consideration.

Important Notice!
"Effective October 1, 2003, all Campus Research Board (CRB) and Scholars’Travel Fund (STF) applications that include requests for travel to locations for which travel warnings and/or mandatory evacuation orders have been issued by the U.S. Department of State and/or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention must include prior approval of the proposed travel from the Office of the Provost, as outlined in the Campus Administrative Manual (http://www.admin.uiuc.edu/cam/CAM/ix/ix-a/ix-a-26.html), before any funding allocation will be made. Absolutely no reimbursements will be made for travel to these locations prior to receiving this approval from the Office of the Provost or for travel expenses of any type for trips that are subsequently declined."
